Assembly of your new sidecar:

Fixing of wheel

Slide inboard side of axle into suspension bracket on sidecar. Install locking steel tab washer and nut on inside of suspension bracket (See Figures 1 & 2).

Axle Assembly

Tighten nut and bend locking steel tab to prevent nut from loosening.

Slide steel spacer onto axle (See Figures 3 & 4).

Slide 1 plastic spacer onto axle (See Figure 1).

Slide wheel and hub over axle (See Figure 5).

Insert second plastic spacer onto axle and into wheel hub (See Figure 1).

Install outer washer, castle nut and cotter-pin onto axle.
Note: The outer end of axle and castle nut are left-hand threaded.

Hand-tighten castle nut.

IMPORTANT: Before driving with your new sidecar, you must bend the tabs of the sheet metal keeper to prevent loss of the inner axle nut and insert the cotter key to prevent loss of the outer axle nut.
